Tia has loved crawling up the stairs ever since the first time earlier this year. Almost instinctual, she flew up the carpeted steps as if she knew exactly what to do. Ever since then, when she sees steps of any kind, she points her hand in that direction and gives you a little grunt to take her there. But, you have to watch out because if you let her do it once, she'll wear you out wanting more and more. This past weekend, we were at my dad's in Springfield, IL for Tia's cousin Janelle's 5th birthday. His living room is two steps lower than the rest of the house and there are three different exits that have two carpeted steps. She was in love! She learned how to go down the steps which was cute because she would go sideways down the first, then backwards to the next. She definitely had her fill of going up and down the steps. She's my little monkey!
